The crew sent to move us was wonderful. They were professional, helpful and friendly. They worked fast, yet carefully. There wasn't a single item lost or damaged. I was really impressed.
What an excellent job Main Street Movers did to move us into our new home. From start to finish, the office team was responsive in their calls, emails, estimates (Nicole coming back out to my house for a re-estimate when we had organized ourselves better!) and their move team, led by foreman, Elvis, with Marco, JuanCarlo, Tony and Jose, was punctual, professional, polite, efficient, and friendly. Our move was a smooth as could be because of this wonderful team. These types of traits are what make a good company great. I would highly recommend them.
Do yourself a favor and choose them. The estimate will be accurate. The move will be flawless and a stressful process will be made that much simpler.
Couldn't have had a better day moving than what we had with Main Street. The happy crew arrived a few minutes before they were scheduled, ready to work. They were polite, professional, and quick. It was an all-day move, with the guys never missed a beat. Estimate was spot on as well.
I highly recommend Main Street Movers for all packing, moving, and storage needs! Without exception, every staff member provided prompt, friendly, and professional service when we moved out of state from New Jersey. Main Street Movers assisted us with packing possessions accumulated over 30+ years, temporarily storing some items while moving others to an apartment, moving from an apartment to a new out-of-state home, and moving additional items into a storage unit. We experienced no property damage, Main Street Movers was accommodating to our needs, and they made a rather complex move nearly stress-free. I had the utmost confidence in them and I was not disappointed!
AT YOUR OWN RISK. They were super nice in person. No problems with In person service. But apparently you're not paying for conscientiousness. Or repair. This antique bench was one of multiple victims. It looked like it had been smashed against a brick wall. Three other older wood pieces were cracked or damaged. All of these pieces had made multiple moves with my family over the past 50 years. We didn't know to buy extra insurance and were offered a whopping $125 compensation. SO - you are not paying for them to actually take care of your items. EVEN if we had bought insurance, this piece (made by a great Uncle) would still be destroyed. I think we would have been better off with ' A man with a Van' from wherever.
This company is fantastic. The best. I couldn't have been happier with the experience. The estimate was as close as it gets, within $100 and I added a few minor items last minute.
